  • dot-gap are happy to take on briefs from entry level to CEO.
  • We are not a grad recruitment agency, but will take on entry level briefs that seek grads with some level of appropriate skills.
  • We are happy to take on briefs at all levels, and naturally means that at any point in time we have a handful of entry level / exec briefs open, a few £100k+ roles, and plenty Manager / Account Director / Director level roles.
  • We are very happy to speak to you about taking on a brief at any level, as long as it related to digital media.

Cost to you as an employer


  • There is zero cost to you as an employer until your newly hired individual starts work with you
  • It is extremely rare for talent acquired through dot-gap not to work out, but in such a case there is a rebate system in place to help protect your investment which typically takes the form of a sliding scale over 3-months.
  • Our fees charged as a fixed % of employees starting salary and are payable within 30-days of your new hire starting work with you
  • For freelance workers or short term contract hires, the same principle applies whereby we charge a fixed % of the salary.

dot-gap was founded in 2005 by Keith Rattray, formerly head of digital for Carat UK. Our mission is to save people time and deliver precise pairings between employees and employers.

Q. If I want to engage you on a brief to find me talent, are there any up front costs?

A.  No. There’s nothing to pay until we find you the right person

Q. Do you cover all digital media disciplines found within media agencies?

A.  Yes! Strategy, display planning & buying, ad-ops, PPC, SEO, affiliates, programmatic, account management, data planning, analytics and anything else that comes up over time.

Q. Do you work with creative agencies?

A.  Sometimes yes, but not for taking creative briefs, only for digital media related briefs that reside in creative agencies such as Social, Strategy, SEO and the like

A.  Absolutely yes! It’s a rapidly expanding side of the business as more and more agency functions are brought in house by progressive advertisers.
