Activation Planner/Buyer

This digital media planner role is ideal for someone looking for a move into a great agency, to focus on digital media planning and progression to Manager level in the near future.

Top class media agency – fully integrated offering all possible media planning and buying services to a wide range of advertisers
Interesting and diverse client list representing all major advertiser categories.
They cover both UK and International media planning and are part of a global network

The role

The role will involve strategy and implemental planning and buying across all display, mobile, and social media campaigns within the agency. You’ll be responsible for the planning and buying of digital activation campaigns (display, mobile and social) and their subsequent implementation.  You’ll work closely to support the activation manager and take line management responsibility of executive level people in your team.
Main Responsibilities:
•    Negotiating campaigns with media owners
•    Analysis of reports for relevant clients
•    Client facing presentations on strategy, campaign recommendations and subsequent results
•    Manage development/mentoring of an activation executive
•    Monitoring the day to day aspects of junior employees’ work to ensure high quality output.
•    Delivering integrated strategy to internal stakeholders and clients.

The candidate

The ideal candidate will have a commercial grounding within planning and buying with knowledge of the DSP landscape and preferably proven experience in working with an agency-trading desk.
Key Skills:
•     You will already have You will have knowledge of the fundamentals of both ad-serving and the display technology landscape.
•    Keen interest in digital marketing
•    Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
•    Strong work ethic – self-motivated and able to take the initiative
•    Excellent written and spoken English
