Business Development Manager
The company
The agency specialises in creating and distributing content across all media. They work across a wide range of industry sectors and have full production and media capabilities. They have extensive experience in sports & entertainment marketing and are the global creative agency for a major sporting group… Everything they do is very collaborative and they take pride in everything they do!
The role
The successful candidate will identify potential customers and secure relevant information to aid in new business approaches.
Main Responsibilities:
• Profiling, prospecting and booking sales presentations as well as targeting and contacting potential customers to set up initial meetings
• Deliver value proposition, close sales and meet and exceed monthly sales meetings quota
• Help maintain the CRM programme and receive and answer prospective customers’ sales meetings quota
• First point of contact with prospects in order to secure initial meetings for the Client Services team
The candidate
You should be an ambitious and entrepreneurial sales person, wanting to build an empire in an exciting fast moving sector
Key Skills:
• A dynamic and driven team player with a talent for converting first approaches with potential customers into meetings, and meetings into sales
• You will have the stamina to keep focused in the face of competitive targets that can reap significant rewards for you
• You will want to prove yourself, build your own sales and reap the rewards this opportunity gives you
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are vital as well as knowledge of Microsoft Office.
