The role

We are looking for a planner buyer who will be responsible for optimising and reporting back on client campaigns and where relevant, buying of display and aggregator channels.
Responsibilities and duties will include:

  • Campaign planning an buying where appropriate:
  • Covering off all negotiations with the trading team & AM.
  • Negotiating campaigns with Media Owners
  • Producing competitor reviews where appropriate & delivering insight into the relevant client market as appropriate.
  • Producing weekly analysis reports -Delivering insight internally and to the client, and acting upon this
  • Have a thorough understanding of all metrics within reports – spotting trends and delivering analysis of them.

The candidate

The Digital Planner Buyer MUST have/be:

  • Previous planning and buying experience across appropriate channels- including DR and analytics.
  • Knowledge of industry research tools TGI.net, DDS, Neilsen also reporting tools such as Double click and/or MediaPlex.
  • Delivery of client objectives and targets for digital activity
  • Media innovation (e.g. new creative formats, new platforms, media first etc)
