This company is a magnet within the publishing industry with a heritage of class, outstanding brands and quality. They operate a brilliant digital offering, selling high quality digital media inventory across a raft of top class destinations. It’s a company you will be very familiar with, and one that the advertising industry is very familiar with too, and as a direct result you will be selling a well known brand to well established agency relationships. Selling niche titles that attract high quality advertising across a range of verticals with innovative advertising solutions.

The role

We are looking for a Digital account manager who will be responsible for the generation of revenue to meet and exceed budgetary requirements.
Responsibilities and duties will include:

  • Developing and managing key agency relationships and deliver market leading client servicing levels.
  • Maintaining an extensive knowledge of the status of the marketplace e.g. competitor activity and general development of the consumer web.
  • Working effectively with management team and interfacing departments to achieve sales objectives – editorial/technical/marketing/magazine display/research/design.
  • Contract negotiation for major accounts.

The candidate

The Digital Account Manager MUST have:

  • 5 years sales experience, with at least 1-2 years experience selling online advertising
  • Possesses a thorough knowledge of internet advertising sales and the strengths and weaknesses of the medium.
  • A strong body of contacts within the interactive advertising community is essential.
  • Be highly numerate, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Have a good working knowledge of Powerpoint and Excel.
