The role

  • As Account Director your role will cover client leadership and development, commercial leadership, strategic digital media and also team leadership.
  • As Account Director you will be responsible for preparing and driving the execution of the annual client business plan
  • The Account Director will be responsible for identifying the means of driving greater operational and financial efficiency across client business, through negotiation of supplier contracts, outsourcing initiatives or dedicated resourcing for specific tasks.
  • As Account Director you will manage clients and establish systems or process to ensure effective financial controls (i.e. receipt of PO before media buying, timely client payment, credit insurance)
  • The Account Director will drive the development of all necessary client education initiatives ensuring that the client operates with optimal understanding of digital media and the practices of the company, and what’s needed to get the best from the company partnership

The candidate

  • Operating currently at an appropriately senior level within a recognised UK media agency.
  • Must have a background of digital media planning and buying and operations with UK advertisers
  • Analytical and good with response focused and ROI centric media operations
  • Previous managerial experience is essential – you must be able to manage juniors in a digital media planning and buying capacity
  • Exposure to all elements of digital performance media desirable, including affiliates, search and ad-exchange
