The role

  • As an Account Executive your responsibilities will be split into three key areas, Internal, External, and Client.
  • Support Planner/Buyer and Senior Planner/Buyer in the analysis, planning & buying of client media schedules
  • Close monitoring of campaign delivery, performance and optimisation, alerting other team members at the outset of any questionable data
  • Handle basic negotiations
  • Present client results, marketplace information, innovative/ creative opportunities, competitive and media updates internally and externally when appropriate
  • Build your knowledge of other media to develop new opportunities for your clients outside of your core media
  • A key understanding of how the digital market operates within the wider media market, plus an elementary skill in negotiation.

The candidate

  • Ideally some prior agency experience at account exec level.
  • Have a basic understanding of other media and of how digital integrates with other media
  • A thorough knowledge of all relevant planning & buying tools. Mandatory: ComScore, Neilson AdRelevance, TGI.net, Adazzle, DART, Atlas, Eyeblaster
  • Demonstrate basic client management (e.g – sending reports, contribute to briefing meetings, presence at status meetings, day to day communication via email & meetings etc)
  • To be an integral and integrated part of the team
  • The ability to think creatively and identify new opportunities
  • Have clear, concise and persuasive communication ability
  • Show potential to plan and buy the most effective campaign for your clients at the best possible prices
