The role

  • As a Digital Account Manager your responsibilities will include: client management, team management, internal relationships and external relationships.
  • The Account Manager is the pivotal role within the client services team ensuring timely and efficient media delivery, optimisation, analysis and reporting.
  • Supporting the Account Director in developing acquisition focused plans across all media channels to meet the clients’ business objectives and KPIs.
  • Contributing to and presenting communication strategies, implementational plans and campaign results to clients, working closely with other disciplines within the agency.
  • Manage and develop Account Executives and Media Assistants within the team.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of best practice processes and ways of working and ensure these are followed by the team.

The candidate

  • Previous experience of working in an agency environment or similar.
  • A strong understanding of media tools and techniques, communication channels, acquisition media planning, reporting processes and media buying/negotiation.
  • In depth knowledge of digital performance media.
  • Understand response planning metrics:- response rates, cost per response, conversion rates, cost per acquisition, return on investment.
  • Analytical skills – evaluation of key trends in response data, market and media dynamics.
  • Strategic use of data driven media strategies to optimise client investment based on client volume, cost and quality objectives.
  • Knowledgeable about online media industry, trends and tools.
  • Working knowledge of 3rd party ad server and web analytics technologies.
  • Basic financial awareness to include DDS, Adazzle, budgets:- gross, net, agency commission.
