A Top-5 Media agency is looking for a Digital Strategy Director to be at the sharp end of ‘emerging’ digital channels/ techniques, run the Digital Strategy team and provide digital thought leadership to the wider agency.<!--more-->

The role

  • Lead digital strategy development, with the ability to sell clients and articulate vision gaining their understanding and support
  • Able to deliver a range of digital solutions: strategy and vision, thought leadership, planning across Paid, Owned, Earned, measurement/tracking to name just a few.
  • Ensure effective management of available resources within the team and specialist disciplines managing campaigns, whilst simultaneously being aware of capacity levels, scope of work, managing one-to-one processes and ensuring expectations of staff are managed at all times
  • Be commercially driven and forward thinking in the growth of business opportunities, entrepreneurial in mind-set and always thinking of the expansion and engagement of additional or new services in Digital across all BP/Castrol and Nestlé client teams
  • Be the central client contact for all digital questions, liaising with Directors and senior management within the client and organization. Win clients’ trust to become a senior advisor for existing and future Digital engagements

The candidate

  • 7-9 years digital strategy experience, ideally in a multinational/global capacity
  • Commercially driven, with ability to identify and develop new revenue streams
  • Exceptional project management skills (project scoping through to campaign delivery)
  • Exceptional client relationship skills, especially with senior clients
  • Strategically minded yet with keen attention to detail
  • Exceptional leadership skills, including support and development of individuals in team
