The company

Top class media agency – fully integrated offering all possible media planning and buying services to a wide range of advertisers
Interesting and diverse client list representing all major advertiser categories.
They cover both UK and International media planning and are part of a global network

The role

The role is to be the figurehead externally and internally for defining and achieving a market leading position in Social Media for the company and all of its business units. You will work closely with the Head of Content and Technology to facilitate a full service Social Media proposition. Key responsibilities:

  • Identify and manage pipeline of clients that offer the biggest opportunity for social media within the business.
  • Review the range and quality of Social Media services internally and within the company and ensure that they are all able to provide best-in-class social media capability for its expert area.
  • Define and oversee an agreed process model for working with Strategy/Intelligence, Content, Mobile and SEO teams to provide an integrated social offering.
  • Manage profitability of social team and define pricing strategy for each element

The candidate

The candidate must be an acknowledged expert in the field of Social Media and have experienced a specialist digital role in an agency.
The ideal candidate is someone with the drive and ambition to achieve results in a friendly manner but at the same time maintain quality and standards.
Key skills:

  • Extensive experience in managing and leading teams, including hiring and developing talent
  • Deep know how social and content from a strategic, planning and delivery perspective
  • You will have an exceptional understanding of current social initiatives and content management opportunities across diverse communities that affect our clients
  •  To be the internal social and mobile champion and be a proven communicator and collaborator
