Highly successful full service media agency which is totally independent and boasts a mightily impressive client list covering entertainment, fashion and retail to name but a few sectors.
They have excellent links to the hottest creative agencies and take creative media planning very seriously, delivering outstanding levels of innovation, client servicing and media results.

The role

We are looking for a Head of Strategy who will take the forefront in leading overall communications strategies for our many clients, they will be expected to lead pitch teams; to lead and mentor the team, and to make a significant input into our overall marketing plan.

Responsibilities and duties will include:

  • Improving communications planning/strategy output- taking internal leadership; developing and defining our strategic approach; building comms strategies for our major clients and new business pitches.
  • Work closely with our new Head of Data to identify new tools and software requirements- ensuring best practice use of all industry tools; identifying new techniques to understand and segment target consumers; managing new tool and insight development.

The candidate

  • Absolutely must come from a multi-media strategic planning background with a heritage of UK media agency behind them.
  • Able to deliver brilliantly in a pitch situation, inspiring others within the agency at all levels and making a difference to advertiser businesses.
  • You need to be able to operate comfortably in a head of media strategy capacity as well as actively contribute to the running the agency.
