The company

This is a top 10 media agency who have a reputation in the market as a forward thinking, creative and entrepreneurial organisation.
They work across a wide range of advertisers (often challenger brands) and are home to some of the coolest brands in UK today for all their media needs.
An approachable and generally fun culture without a lot of the politics that blights some of the larger media agencies, and their focus for digital is strategy, integration, analytics and client servicing.

The role

This role involves providing leadership on social within the Company and across a wide number of exciting and varied clients. Key Responsibilities:
•    Able to deliver full social business and marketing strategies, across all social channels.
•    Be an expert in all channels, mechanics, tools and broader trends in social media, as well as implications to clients businesses both marketing and other disciplines e.g. CRM, customer services, PR.
•    Lead client accounts by owning the client relationship, ensuring all tasks are noted and achieved on time, and managing workloads within the team.
•    Lead a social media campaign from conception to full delivery – coordinating between all necessary teams both internally and externally.

The candidate

The ideal candidate will have a strong grounding in social media, who has a commanding knowledge of emerging platforms and is comfortable with exploring new technologies and advertising opportunities within them. Key Skills:
•    Social Media experience essential, preferably from a strong digital background
•    Experience of managing a team of planners or executives
•    Understanding of broader digital platforms especially SEO
•    Great interpersonal and communication skills, including an ability to vary tone of voice
•    Analytical with an eye for detail
•    Ability to respond to briefs from clients or the comms planning teams.
