The role

This role involves collecting and collating a variety of spend and cost tracking reports, analyzing data to understand key trends and to co-ordinate with global markets on a daily basis to ensure they are delivering the data that the Company need. Key Responsibilities:
•    Requesting and collecting spend/ cost tracking documents from colleagues in other offices
•    Checking spend/ cost tracking documents sent to ensure they include all necessary information
•    Working with the Trading Director/ Partner to collate and analyze spend/ cost tracking reports – in time we would expect the successful candidate to take responsibility for completing this task alone on some of the smaller pieces of business
•    Liaising with markets to ask all necessary questions to ensure spend/ cost tracking reports are accurate
•    To use data provided by markets to conduct basis cost calculations

The candidate

The ideal candidate will be someone with 1-2 years’ experience in media, ideally from a media auditing or a media planning and/ or buying background. As numeracy is such a key element of the role, we would also consider a candidate from a financial background, looking to get into media. Key Skills:
•    Basic understanding of how key media can be measured (e.g.; GRPs, impacts, impressions), and some insight into how media is planned and traded would be an advantage, but is not essential.
•    Intermediate Excel skills (eg; ability to make a pivot table, write some basic formulae etc) and basic PowerPoint skills.
•    Experience of international media and/ or languages is not essential, but would be an advantage.
•    A solid level of numeracy (percentages, indices, ratios etc.)
