The role

This role is for an Account Manager to be a key support to the Company’s Trading team. Key Responsibilities:
•    Responsibility for tracking in all paid media channels, across a range of local markets in EMEA, APAC and the Americas
•    Working with the Business Director, local agencies (and possibly a third party auditor) to set new benchmarks, where necessary
•    It is likely the role will require some level of pan-regional buying, therefore past experience within the pan-regional space would be an asset but is not a pre-requisite.
•    Monitoring trends across international markets, keeping abreast of key market changes and working with local teams to understand any resultant planning/ trading implications

The candidate

The Company are looking for someone with 3-4 years’ media experience, ideally from a media auditing or a media planning and/ or buying background. They would also consider someone from a client media procurement background. Key Skills:
•    A strong understanding of how key media channels are measured (e.g.; GRPs, impacts, impressions), traded and how they can be analyzed on a cost basis.
•    Some hands-on experience of implementational media planning – whether within a single channel or across channels – would be invaluable.
•    Ability to analyse a problem and propose a possible solution
•    A solid level of numeracy (percentages, indices, ratios etc.)
•    Confident of making mental calculations in addition to working with Excel or calculators
