The role

The global account manager will be joining a diverse team of international ambitious individuals within a successful and thriving network.As the Global Account Manager you will be working as an extension of a Global Network Client team in the Amsterdam hub, overseeing day-to-day digital activation responsibilities on a key EMEA client.

Main Responsibilities 

• You will be responsible for the overall planning and activation of digital activations

• Negotiation, buying, activation & reporting of central campaigns… including programmatic display, programmatic video and vendor direct partnerships

• Identifying and recommending partnerships for the entire EMEA region

• Proactive recommendations to client about how to advance their digital capabilities, creation of digital data roadmap, execution of development plans; including bringing in internal practices (centres of excellence) as needed for incremental projects and support

• Campaign tracking, optimisation, and post-campaign analysis

The candidate

The role

The agency is looking to recruit an Account Manager to be part of the team, for a one year maternity period. The role entails supporting the Strategic Planners, the Global Account Directors, develop data-driven analysis, insights and provide a first class service to the brands in their portfolio.

Main Responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for the day-to-day outputs of the team

• Manage the workload, timelines, anticipate and set priorities

• Support the Strategic Planners and Account Directors to produce situation analysis and relevant insights, from a market, category, brand and consumer perspectives

• Use media tools, desktop research and coordinate with local Havas teams in order to source data and information

The candidate

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 – 4 years experience in a media agency preferably in an international capacity

Key Skills:

• A thorough understanding of the whole media planning and strategic process and the role of media in the context of marketing strategy

• Experienced in terms of client contact and should be able to operate at ease in developing and managing client relationships

• Experience of preparing and delivering senior level presentations to clients and internally

• Excellent analysis, reasoning and interpretation ability

• Ability to work independently as well as under direction

Main Responsibilities 

• Develop strong relationships with client stakeholders – central & key local markets on both accounts

• Monitor global activity to set digital KPIs and create action plans where needed to improve market performance

• Identification of new income opportunities from within and without current scope
